Sometimes, Life Needs to Be Easy

I don't post recipes very often on this blog. There are quite a few reasons for that, but when Cody and I tried this and saw how easy it was, I knew I had to share it with you!

One night, I was strolling around pinterest and saw this awesome breakfast dish. The instructions didn't have a lot of pics so it got a bit confusing to me, so I decided to write a post about in case you had seen the same dish!

It's super easy and easy to customize based on what you like.

Here's what you need:
-1 can of crescent rolls
-5 eggs
-Other toppings: We used bacon bits (you could use just small strips of bacon as well), a cup of shredded cheese, and a mixture of peppers.

Lay all of your crescent rolls out on a dish to make a star shape. Then scramble your eggs and get your other toppings ready. Preheat your oven to 350*

Pile on your toppings! I would start with eggs first and then the cheese, then everything else.

Fold your crescent rolls over, making them stick to each other in the middle.

Bake in the oven for 15-17 minutes or until the rolls are starting to turn a golden brown. In our oven, we baked a bit longer but we always have to.

Does anyone else sometimes use paper plates to avoid doing dishes? No, just me? Well, then.

Anyway, Cody and I both really loved this dish! It was flavorful and easy to make so it was a win in both of our books and we will definitely be making it again! I originally thought I may have enough to eat the next morning, but it was gone before the night was over, even though this was supposed to just be a snack!

Does this look like something you'd enjoy?
Have you ever made this before? What did you think?

Oh I've made a dish with the crescent rolls like that, but you fill it with taco meat, cheese and salsa to taste. Cover it and then serve with lettuce tomato, sour cream and guac in the middle of the circle. It's spread out just a little more though so there's lots of room in the middle of the circle. Very yummy! and easy
