Anyway, I used to have a system of organization. It was called "hey, let's put all these papers I need to file away in the file boxes in the closet in this big box."
I put the blog calendar that I talked about here on the front of it, clipped with some small binder clips.
I used some address labels and a cute font to make my file folder labels. If you don't have address labels, writing them on is just fine. I used labels because I can't stand when you want to re-use a file folder and have to turn it around and then there's another label on the other side.
As you can probably see, these are my labels. I changed them around a couple of times to figure out what worked for me.
Med Surg Lecture-This is one of my lecture classes for January-May. When I first made this box, it was in September 2012, so I just replaced the labels on these folders when I was done with finals in those classes.
Community lecture- This is another one of my lecture classes.
Those are both in their own hanging folder. After those two folders, I switched to the next hanging folder. In that one, I have:
Research Lecture- This is another one of my lecture classes. The reason it's not in the same hanging folder as the other two is that the other two require quite a bit more notes. Honestly, I may end up putting the first two lecture classes in their own hanging folder by themselves as I start the classes.
Clinical Papers-I have two clinicals this semester, but we usually don't have a huge volume of paperwork, even though we do paperwork each week, so they both go into the same folder.
Then I switched to another hanging folder:
Blog Sponsors-This is where I keep my blog sponsors organized. For January, I started filling out a print out of all the info for each sponsor to keep on file and they go in this folder.
Sponsored Posts-This is where contracts or just info for the sponsored posts go so that I can get to them easily.
Completed Shop Orders-Every time I get a shop order, they get printed out and actually just sit on my printer until I complete them. Once they are completed, packaged and shipped, they go into this file folder.
The last hanging folder I use has these folders:
Things to File-These are things I want to file away in that big box in the closet
Other-This is just for anything else. I keep a lot of coupons and note cards from friends in here or just things we need to get to quickly, like medication prescriptions and things like that. After mail gets opened, it usually goes in here as well.
And there you have it! When I'm needing something, it's really simple to just go to my file box and grab it or to just file it away. It sure beats having a big box of papers to flip through every time I need something!
Remember those sponsors I told you about? Well, I've got a couple of them here that I want to tell you about today. One is my soul mate in blogging and another is a girl whose fashion sense I envy like crazy!

Niki from Glossy Blonde and I have been blogging friends for awhile. She has the type of blog I wish I had, you know, the kind with fabulous pictures and outfits and beauty posts. But alas, I don't have that blog, so I live vicariously through her.
She made me laugh and nod in agreement when she talked about hiding new items from her hubs and that she got it from her dad. I'm not sure where I get my shopaholic-ness from but I've definitely heard that horribly question "Where/when did you get that?" from Cody more times than I can count.
She recapped the best beauty products of 2012 and had me wishing I had a bigger bank account to rush out and get the products I haven't tried.
The girl knows how to dress to, as evidenced by this outfit.
The girl has it all, for sure, so you should definitely be checking out her blog.
How do you organize all your papers?
Do you have a system like this? Do you think this system would work for you?

Have you met this amazing blogger?

Great post on staying organized! I need to start organizing my blog posts like that!
I need to make one of those file boxes... I'd be to embarrassed to show my "stuff and hide" method for paperwork. Haha.
I absolutely love this and the "things to file" folder is essential!

Uhh, this is totally a pinspiration project! COME LINK UP WITH US!!!! :)
I like how you put the blogging calender right in front so that it's easily visible. What I need to get organized is a desk--blogging from the kitchen table and packing everything up all the time isn't the best!
I love that file box. and I love you tooooo.
LOVE THIS IDEA!! I should totally do this for my desk.. & what print out do you use to keep your blog sponsor up to date? I really need to get on this again since I will be offering up sponsorship again in February and I want to max and be helpful to other blogs!
You're the best! Thanks so much girl!!!
Love this idea! Definitely need to make one for my desk!
I am completely obsessed with organization so this is the perfect post for me! I'm totally going to do this! Organizing makes me happy!!! :p
