Well, I'm Glad That's Over!

This past semester that is, don't get me wrong, I loved loved loved labor and delivery but the schedule was just so jam packed.
I had two clinicals plus four lecture classes. It was just crazy!
Next semester, I have two clinicals but only three lecture classes. However, this next semester is known as the last weeding out semester. It's said to be the hardest so let's hope I make it through!
Anyway, finals went well! I made all B's and one A so I'm thrilled.
To help get me through finals, my friend Kim from The K.O. Jewelry told me about something her and her friends used to do during finals.
Basically, they would have little gifts for each other on each day of finals to just bring some encouragement through the seemingly endless days of tests.
When she told me about it, I was so on board! We originally wanted to make it a swap but hardly anyone signed up so we decided to just do it between the two of us.
Here's what she got me for each of my finals:

So on day one, she made me a mix tape! It was a great mix of songs to get you pumped up at the beginning and songs that would calm you down toward the end. She included some of my favorite songs and introduced me to a few new ones!

On day two, she gave me some hand cream and lip balm from EOS! She and I share a love of this stuff! It's amazing! I already had the hand cream, but now I can have one in my car and one at my desk!

On day three, she sent me a necklace that I've been eyeing for months in her shop! I was so excited to get this!

One day four, she sent me some samples of different hot chocolates and some Bailey's Irish cream. I have to admit, I haven't used this yet, because I decided to save it for Christmas! 

Of course, I sent her a few things, but I didn't take pics of it, but I know she's going to blog about this too so you'll just have to check it out!

This was honestly the most fun swap that I participated in! It was so much fun to have the anticipation of opening a little present each day! 

We definitely plan on doing this again and maybe opening it up to you guys.
