Manson the Fish

Hi, my name is Manson. I'm Paige and Cody's Betta Fish. Well, one of them.

I have no idea why my mom wanted me to write on her blog. It's kind of hard to type with my tiny fins, you know.

She kept talking about how people have their dogs or babies guest post, so she was going to have her fish guest post, dammit!

Dad thought she was crazy.

But, back to me.

I'm a regular Betta Fish (yes, the fish has to be capitalized!)

My brother, is also a Betta Fish named Leo.

I never get to see him. 

Something about if we see each other we'll rip each other's heads apart.

I don't need to see him! I already smell him all the time! It drives me nuts! I need to prove I'm better!

I really want to mate one day. I build bubble nests all the time to give my mom and dad a clue that that's what I want but so far they aren't catching on. Maybe you can tell them for me?

Since I can't talk.

(although I can type, apparently)

Other than building bubble nests and inspecting the wall that separates me and Leo for weakness, I mostly spend my days wishing for food. Dad always feeds us, but he's the cook in the family and he feeds Mom too so I guess that makes sense. She cleans our tank.

 I really hate it when that happens! But, I also hate swimming in leftover food and poop so I guess it's ok. I just hate being taken out of my home and put in a cup.

A Cup! Can you believe it? Insanity!

I guess I am going to go now! Time to make more bubble nests!
