Fashion Forward: Colored Skinnies

So, if you know me at all, you know I'm more of a sweats, simple, hair in a bun, no makeup type of girl.
Well, that's all going to change!
At least, I'm going to try to make it change.
And what better way to start than during the fall?
I feel like you can really be fashionable in the fall because you can wear layers, accessorize more, experiment with colors...
Here in the South, in the summer, you think one thing: As little as possible without giving too much away.
My summer uniform has consisted of a hair bun, shorts, oversized tank tops, sports bra and sandals.
I may have thrown on a dainty necklace a time or two but that's it.
So, I went shopping and picked up one of the newest crazes.
Colored Skinny Jeans.
That's right. I know, they came in last Spring. But, remember the hot summers? Yeah, I was not about to wear pants.
So, I put together some outfits that are cute and completely fall friendly surrounding my skinnies!
Because quite frankly, I am itching for cooler weather.

This is the first outfit I'm featuring:

White Tshirt: Old Navy Perfect Tee ($6)

Scarf: Target (14.99 but I bought on clearance for $5)

Colored Skinnies: Target ($22)

Boots: Rack Room Shoes ($50 but I paid $24)

Bracelet: I made it!

I love this outfit because it's still simple but really cute and you have your pop of color with those skinny jeans!

Plus, I am in love with my boots!


Now onto outfit two:

Here's the second outfit which I think is going to be perfect going to class in because it's relaxed and comfortable, but it's also something I'd wear out with friends!

Cardigan: Target ($17) It's the boyfriend Cardigan

Tank Top: Target ($8)

Colored Skinnies: Target ($22)

Boots: Rack Room Shoes ($50 but I paid $24)

Jewelry: I made all of it!

This is just an example how something as simple as buttoning your cardigan can completely change a look which I think is pretty cool!

I changed nothing on this outfit, except buttoning the cardigan and took my hair down.

There you have it! I am so excited about actually putting these outfits into action!

The great part is, as I was going through my clothes for these posts, I noticed about 5-6 outfits I would have never even thought of!

So what have we learned? Colored skinnies are really cute and I shop at Target for my clothes alot.
