One of my favorite things after someone gets married, is seeing all the details and effort they put into it!
So, here are all of my wedding DIY projects!
Enjoy!
This is the log cabin my friend, Lacey and I found at Michael's that I painted.
We bought it because I originally wanted to elope and stay in a log cabin but I was talked out of it so we got the cabin to bring Gatlinburg to my hometown wedding.
Then, Cody and I finally decided to do what we wanted to so I brought our mini cabin to our big cabin :)
The black box is where we painted our last name on the cabin.
The bottles are wine bottles covered with black fabric. One wine bottle is from the day I bought my wedding dress and the other one is from my 21st birthday.
The Mr. and Mrs. signs I made. I used wooden letters from Michael's with craft paint and glitter glue. It took about 5-6 coats of glitter glue to get it that glittery.
We had a mishap on the way there because some lysol wipes leaked into the bag these were in and the glitter got wet and some of it came off. Oh well!
Our rings! My engagement and wedding band and his band. I love his band! I think it's the perfect band for him.
I love the background in these pics. freaking amazing.
My shoes! I loved these. They were so comfortable. I got them $40 at Rack Room Shoes.
The obligatory picture of the hanging wedding dress and a pic of the front of Cody's uniform jacket
This was our hand blessing ceremony wording and the monogram I made to close the belly band around it.
Right before I decided to start getting ready for the wedding!
The cake the chapel gave us. It was soooo good! and So beautiful!
Cody relaxed and ate a lot of food while I did this...
It took us about 45 min-1 hour to curl my hair. I have such thick hair. Massive props to Lacey for being patient enough.
I felt like I was in a Dr. Suess movie right before we curled the last bit!
The back of my hair. It was so hard to get a good pic of it. Cody moves his hand too fast with my camera. Yes, that is a bath tub in our room :) A Jacuzzi to be exact.
Traveling down the road for the last time as a "single" woman! It was so beautiful and perfect to be driving into my favorite town in the world right before I got married
Last few minutes!
Yes, it was STILL raining. Ugh
My bouquet, veil, and garter
Me getting ready in the chapel
About to put on my dress!
These are ipod pics so the quality is horrible but oh well!
Okay guys, I paced the bridal suite wringing my hands waiting for the ceremony to start. Apparently, my husband nearly fell asleep.

I love your dress! You are just stunning!
I totally feel your pain with having thick hair. Every homecoming, prom, etc. it took foreverrrr to get my hair done. And of course for my wedding I want it curled!
