Wedding Recap Series: Pt. 3 The Ceremony

Today is probably my favorite part because it's our wedding ceremony and portraits!
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do. Okay, that's a lie because I know you won't enjoy them as much as me.

As some of you may know, it rained starting the day before my wedding and didn't stop until two days later.
Ever since I was a little girl. I always wanted to get married outside. I honestly thought it was the one thing I couldn't compromise on and the only thing that kept me from canceling the whole wedding was the fact that we couldn't afford to reschedule.

On the day of, I honestly didn't care about anything. As soon as we got to the chapel, everything went out the window. I was just so happy to be marrying the man that I loved so much.

So, rest assured. If you are currently planning a wedding, I know every detail seems important and if it doesn't turn out the way you want it, your world will fall apart.

I promise your world will never feel more complete than when you are exchanging vows with that person you are marrying.

Head shot portraits

Full body portraits

The back and front of my dress. The back is what really sold me on the dress. I LOVE it.

During the ceremony

I have this picture in a frame by our bed and every time I look at it just makes me happy. Cody and I both look so happy in this picture.

Exchanging Rings!

The Kiss!

Right after the ceremony, before we walked back into the chapel

My best friend, Lacey, her daughter (my god daughter) and our friend, John

Walking back into the chapel. That smile on Cody's face makes me melt almost every time.

Everyone that was at the wedding!

This picture makes me want to cry. Lacey and I have been friends since I was 14 and is probably one of the best friends I will ever have. It means so much to me that she could spend my wedding day with me.

Yeah, this picture makes us all laugh because Cody and John are just now becoming friends! (John was dating Lacey and is my god-daughter's dad so I knew him better) But the photographer insisted on a picture of just the two of them!

There ya have it! My wedding ceremony! These pictures make me smile so much. I'm so glad that we eloped and got married exactly the way we wanted to.

Big or small wedding, indoors or outdoors doesn't really matter--you're exactly right, the important part is that you get to get married to the man you love! That's what makes it exciting!
