Hey everyone! I'm interrupting my wedding series for a little bit to post this vlog! Don't worry, pictures of my wedding ceremony will be put up late tonight!
This is a vlog about my goals for the "Girl Behind the Blog" series from 5ohwifey. Her cohost this week is Trial by Sapphire!
Now behind this short, three minute vlog is about 15 takes, 2 broken necklaces, a destroyed room that just kept getting hotter because I had the lampshade off the lamp to make the light better.
So I hope you enjoy!
I did have a lot of fun filming this vlog!
So much, that I'm willing to do another one!
Comment on this post with any question you want me to answer...any at all
and I'll choose a few of them to do in a vlog video that will go up at the beginning of August!

Have you met this amazing blogger?

good luck paige!!
just want to warn you though .. nothing can prepare you for being a momma more then just becoming a momma!! kids like to throw curve balls .. probably more than nursing school ever will!
found ya through the link up :)
Great first Vlog, Paige! Like you, I am perfectionist when it comes to my college studies, but I know that is about to be tossed right out the window. It's quite intimidating to think of learning an entirely new way of studying. I picked up the NCLEX book as well to read through a few weeks ago. I found it somewhat similar to the CNA test I took a few years ago, but much more involved of course. You'll do great, and here's to hoping you can avoid the pointless studying and really soak up what you need to know!
I love your accent! :) Good luck with this year of nursing school and I know you're going to do great!
Hey! My husband's a nurse--about to start on his master's to become a nurse practitioner, and I'd say what definitely helps him in nursing school is the fact that he's so NOT a perfectionist. :P You mentioned you're a visual learner--one little book I've noticed him studying is "Mosby's Pharmacology Memory Notecards"--I think that's a great resource for someone with a visual learning style, even I was getting drawn into the pictures they have illustrating the things you need to memorize about medicine. Maybe you don't need that specific subject, but they might make similar cards for other subjects in nursing, I don't know.
yay for your first link up! Good luck in nursing school! I completely agree about the answers to quizes, I am an EMT and our work was much the same. Nice to meet you!
I guess I knew you were from the south but I never figured you'd have an accent! I always picture bloggers having voices similar to mine just because I read in my head. It's fun to hear what other people sound like when you never have before, even though you feel like you know them. Good luck in school! I had a bunch of friends who were nurses (including my freshman/sophomore year roommate), so I know how much studying you have to do!
Yay! I'm so glad you linked up! My mother is getting her doctorate in nursing and my sister has just started nursing school so I know how intense it can be. I have no suggestions but I wish you the best of luck!
Hi, Paige!
This is a great introduction to you, and congrats on recording your first vlog! It's both awkward and fun, for me, at least! :-) Thank you so much for linking up with Ash and me. It's so fun for me to "meet" other bloggers through vlogs, because I feel like I get a much better sense of THEM by seeing and hearing them.
Good luck to you in school! You're already done with one year, so keep chugging along! I'm hoping to start an MBA in Healthcare Management program soon.
Keep being awesome, and enjoy your day!
so glad i found your blog through this link up! nursing school is my plan b, if pharmacy doesn't happen. great first vlog! my first one was last month and i was super nervous about it. great job!

I totally understand what you're talking about with nursing school! A lot of my friends started out as nursing majors, and switched because it was so much work. So in awe of you for sticking to your passions!
Good luck with the rest of your nursing program!! I know that is a tough one! I finished my masters a few years ago and always felt like every test we took had 2 or 3 really good answers and it was so hard figuring out which was the perfect answer. So frustrating!! And, yes, I bet this will totally prep you for having kids to take care of. I can't tell you how many times I text or call my nurse friends when my kids are sick! :)
Too cute! You did wayy better than me on the vlog! Good luck in nursing :)

So fun to get to hear your voice!! :)
You go girl! Nursing school takes a lot of dedication and passion but being able to help people like that is so amazing! Best wishes for the rest of your nursing school and your family's future!
